Homes for Sale in Palm Desert
The Coachella Valley community of Palm Desert is a triangle-shaped town nestled between Highway 10, Rancho Mirage, and Indian Wells. Many ‘snowbird’ residents divide their time between the eastern and northern States and Palm Desert, one of California’s warmest year-round climates.

Outdoor Activities
Palm Desert is home to more than a dozen golf and country clubs including the Ironwood Country club and Bighorn Golf clubs to the south and Indian Ridge and Monterey Country Clubs to the north.
Hiking is popular, with 14 scenic mountain trails including the amusingly named Bump and Grind and the Living Desert Wilderness Loop. The latter begins in a popular local zoo and gardens, which features wallaby, emu, giraffe, and black rhinos in their own four-acre savanna habitat.
The city is also celebrated for its Aquatic Center on the College of the Desert campus at Magnesia Falls Drive. The center features three outdoor pools with lap swimming, classes, and water exercise.
Shopping and Dining
Palm Desert’s retailers range from designer brands to convenience stores and high-end boutiques. There are restaurants aplenty between Highway 111 and El Paseo, ranging from Italian cuisine to hearty steakhouses. Many of the city’s country clubs sport their own elegant dining facilities too.
Locals flock to the Certified Farmers Market held each Sunday morning at the Entrada Center. The market’s baked goods, cheeses, wines, fruit and vegetables, and honey are all locally sourced.
