About Port Streets (a.k.a Harbor View Homes)
The Port Streets sit between MacArthur Boulevard and San Miguel Drive, with Ford Road as the northern border and Harbor View Nature Park making up the southern boundary.
The neighborhood's name derives from the simple fact that most of the community's streets have "Port" in the title. You'll find Port Cardigan Place, Port Nelson Place, and many others that follow suit.
Residents have access to several community amenities, including two neighborhood clubhouses, swimming pools, sports fields for baseball and soccer, and a handful of children's play areas. A trail system runs through Port Streets, linking parks and sports facilities. The Harbor View Association manages all of this from a small monthly HOA payment from each household.
At the neighborhood's southern end, Harbor View Nature Park provides a lovely area for relaxation and exercise. It is also a favorite spot among local kids, who enjoy catching crawdads in the pretty creek.
Thanks to the neighborhood's fantastic location, residents of Port Streets have easy access to a multitude of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Fashion Island offers restaurants, boutiques, and department stores to the west. To the south, Corona Del Mar is a favorite destination for those who seek independent stores and innovative cuisine from cutting-edge chefs. Within Port Streets, the small Harbor View Center is home to a limited selection of shops and services, including a bank, pharmacy, and dry cleaner.
