Condos for Sale in Wilshire Terrace
Built in 1958, Wilshire Terrace is the first residential tower built on Wilshire Boulevard. At the time, the City of Los Angeles lifted building height restrictions and its construction kicked off a new wave of high-rise development along the boulevard that would eventually result in today’s Wilshire Corridor (a.k.a. Condo Canyon).
Victor Gruen Associates designed the Mid Century Modern building. The exterior is dominated by horizontal lines, clean white color, and offsetting terraces - all of which contribute to its architectural significance. Wilshire Terrace is listed by the L.A. Conservatory, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and reviving historic architectural and cultural resources.

Wilshire Terrace Information
Wilshire Terrace is a co-op wherein homeowners own shares in a corporation rather than deeds, a form of ownership less common on the West Coast. Another unique feature of the building is that each unit has its own two-story patio.
