The Historic Core is nestled between East 1st Street and 7th Street (north to south) and the Hill Street and North Hill Street and South Los Angeles Street (west to east).

You’re never far from the action in this is a vibrant neighborhood. Many restaurants, bars, museums, and theatres sit within the Historic Core, and you'll find many more within a short distance. The terrain is flat, making it easy to make your way through and around the neighborhood.

If you pay attention while moving through the Historic Core, you’ll notice architectural gems in the style of Beaux-Arts or Art Deco. Among them, you’ll find L.A.’s oldest surviving commercial building, the Bradbury Building.
