La Quinta Real Estate

La Quinta has more properties on the market at any given time than its elite neighbor, Indian Wells. These range from compact Ranch homes and Bungalows to custom properties with pools and spacious gardens.

Spanish and Mediterranean architectural styles coexist with resort condos and larger, Ranch-style properties.

Neighborhoods are beautifully landscaped to maximize shade during those simmering summer months.

Golf Courses and Scenery

If you love golf, then you can choose between Greg Norman, Jack Nicklaus, and Pete Dye-designed PGA West courses. In addition, the SilverRock Resort offers a challenge of unparalleled beauty, with more than 200 sculpted acres including picturesque lakes and a dramatic mountain backdrop.

The Mountain View country club, to the north of the city, adds tennis and pickleball to their golf facilities, as well as a fine dining restaurant and a dedicated spa and wellness center.

Locals seeking unspoiled scenery head out to Lake Cahuilla and Veterans Regional Park, where the Boo Hof Trail originates, winding up into the rocky mountain canyons.

Old Town

Unlike some of its more recently-developed Coachella Valley neighbors, the city of La Quinta has an old town dating back to its 1926 founding. The streets between the La Quinta community park and the Library and Civic Center have a small-town feel, with Mediterranean-styled buildings, boutiques, cafes, and restaurants.

Local history and art can be explored at the La Quinta Museum, where there are regular exhibitions, talks, and craft classes. Other arts facilities include the Gallery of Fine Art, Community Art Gallery, and several privately owned studios.

Dining and Shopping

The largest concentration of restaurants, bars and cafes can be found near the Civic Center, with pizza, Mexican food, and artisan ice cream on offer. The Old Town also hosts several boutiques and stores and there’s a farmers’ market on Sunday mornings.

Unlike some of the more dormitory towns adjacent, La Quinta has chic bars offering craft beer, gigs, sports, and comfort food.
