House has original 1913 wood throughout. Wood has been restored & taken down to the bare wood that was used in original construction in 1913. Floors were sanded down to original bare wood as well & new stain & clear finish applied by a top flooring contractor. RAMBOARD was put on top of floors until all restoration was completed in order to keep the floor safe.
All original 1913 wood doors were removed & taken to a special business to remove all finishes, etc. At this location doors were stripped of any & all coats of paint since 1913. Once down to raw 1913 wood they were restored with same color as when house was brand new. Like the floors a clear finish has been applied. The original 1913 window frames were removed & taken to same establishment. Only two French glass doors & two screen doors have been installed at rear entrances to house.
Original 1913 brass door hardware was removed, taken to a business that specializes in brass restoration. Door knobs were dipped in a solution & all tarnish removed. Next, brass was taken to a business that puts a clear coat on brass to prevent tarnishing.
IN GROUND POOL has been RE plastered, beautiful blue tile trim installed. New white wrought iron fence has been installed.
BUILT IN DINING HUTCH, MIRROR & GLASS DOORS, BOOKCASES IN LIVING ROOM and UNIQUE CEILING MOULDING IN FRONT ROOM & DINING ROOM
LATH PLASTER WALLS & CEILINGS. SOME REPAIRS TO LATH & PLASTER HAD TO BE DONE WITH DRYWALL.
