Country Club Estates Info
Once the site of the Coronado Historic Country Club and polo grounds, this neighborhood features mostly renovated or replaced 1960s Modern-style ramblers with contemporary architecture, adding a distinct character to the area. The neighborhood has a private feel thanks to its secluded environment.
Located in the northwest portion of the island, adjacent to Naval Air Station North Island, this quaint one-square-mile neighborhood is separated from the Village Core by Alameda Avenue. It is also the smallest neighborhood in Coronado. Its residents enjoy easy access to the school district office, preschool, kindergarten, and Coronado Beach, just minutes away.
The Historic Country Club Neighborhood features the only custom single-family home with a variety of architectural styles. The L-shaped homes built in the 50s add to the area's history. Many of these houses have been renovated, upgraded, or replaced with new construction, offering outstanding custom architecture and enhancing the neighborhood's quality.
Residents of the Country Club Neighborhood enjoy easy access to a grocery store, bank, and the Coronado Public Library. Residents can enjoy community events, soccer games, and a peaceful cup of coffee at Sunset Park or Bandel Park. Dog Beach, part of Coronado Beach, is also close.
